Reflections from Conferences Coast-to-Coast
This week marked the beginning of our first education conference season as Throughline Learning!
Shawn and Malika started the week in Palm Springs, CA at the Aurora Institute Symposium, its first in-person convening since 2019. Thank you to the Aurora team for elevating our community educator pilot work. We loved the opportunity to share and discuss with other attendees looking to bridge the school-community gap and invest in strategic, diversified staffing pathways.
Next, our communications team attended the Papitto Opportunity Connection Connector Conference in our home state of Rhode Island. It was great to reconnect with over 100 dedicated nonprofit organizations, learn tips for storytelling, collaborating with board members, and strategic operations. Thank you for inviting us!
We closed out the week at the MassCUE Fall Conference at Gillette Stadium, where Malika was a featured speaker and Maeve and Rebecca from our communications and impact verticals represented us at a nonprofit booth. This event opened up important questions around AI and the irreplaceable role of educators. Where is our power? Where should we be directing our energy? Thanks for allowing us to be part of this thought-provoking, continuing conversation.
If you missed the chance to join us in person, let’s connect! Fill out the brief form linked below to schedule a time to chat about how we can support your school or district’s goals.
