CASTLE

The Center for the Advanced Study of Technology Leadership in Education (CASTLE) is the nation’s only center dedicated to the technology needs of school administrators. In addition to our highly-acclaimed School Technology Leadership graduate program, we also help other university educational leadership programs prepare technology-savvy school leaders and provide numerous resources for K-12 administrators and the faculty that prepare them.

  1. I heard Scott McLeod speak at the Wisconsin SLATE conference this past December and picked up on his talk about badges for credentialing. Since then I have researched it further and believe it will be a great way to motivate students. NYC Public Schools is currently piloting it.

    We plan to use the concept in iForward Wisconsin’s Online Charter School for grades 6-12. Digital Badges are the Gateway to the Future. They are A Creative New Way to Encourage and Reward Learning.
