Issuing Digital Micro-Credentials By Using European Standards and Services
Tuesday September 12 (14:00 – 15:30 CET)

The aim of the event is to introduce the European Digital Credentials for Learning Infrastructure and how to use it to issue digital Micro-Credentials that are compliant with Annex 1 of the Council Recommendation on a European approach to microcredentials for lifelong learning and employability. Starting from the policy context from which the European Learning Model (ELM) was born, then explaining and demonstrating how education providers can use this EU standard and the EDC tools, participants can learn not only how to issue digital micro-credentials to anyone, at any stage of their lifelong learning journeys, but also what preconditions their institutions need to meet to make credential issuance smooth, efficient and beneficial.

We are happy to share that EDEN, together with nine other partners, is implementing an Erasmus+ project “AI PIONEERS – AI and the Future of Education”, which aims at promoting the use and teaching of artificial intelligence (AI) in adult education and vocational training (VET). To learn more about this project, we invite you to:

- Contribute to developing a complement to the DigCompEdu framework on AI-related knowledge and skills of adult and vocational trainers, by filling in the survey (7-10 minutes). The survey is available in the following languages: English; German; Spanish; Basque; Italian; Portuguese, and Greek.

The project “QUEST” aims to contribute to the harmonization, at European level, of the skills of the Instructional Designer profession. Therefore, to facilitate the mobility of Instructional Designers in Europe. Also, to increase the capacity to develop attractive eLearning at European level and to Qualify professionals with previously acquired knowledge and skills in Instructional Design.
