EDEN 2023 Annual Conference Submission Deadline Friday 31st March!

#EDEN2023 Annual Conference is designed to explore the theme, “Yes we can!” – Digital Education for Better Futures. This theme focuses on the language of opportunity and challenges participants to dream big! While there are many big and small challenges that we can’t ignore in building a more inclusive digital future, the conference places the spotlight on the “art of the possible” in reimagining teaching, learning and assessment and delivering on the promise of better futures for all. We hope to encapsulate throughout the conference the spirit of hope and optimism through the enabling language of “yes we can”.

Election of EDEN NAP Steering Committee 2023

The present Steering Committee was elected in May 2020 for a three-year period. The term of office of the present NAP SC will be terminated in May 2023.
All NAP members are invited to take part in the nominations and the election. We look forward to an active election period that can add further momentum to the EDEN Community activities!
If you know a devoted EDEN member who could foster the EDEN NAP activities and is willing to contribute to make the services of EDEN more attractive and useful for members, do not hesitate to nominate her or him for NAP SC Membership!

International Micro-Credentials Summit
20-24th March 2023, Castelledefels, Barcelona

The International Micro-Credentials Summit was held in Castelldefels, Barcelona, on 20-24th March. The week started with the European Digital Education Hub Workshop with the participation of Mark Brown (EDEN DLE Vice-President) and Airina Volungevičiené (EDEN DLE MB Member). On Tuesday took place a Strategic EDEN DLE Management Board Meeting moderated by John Huxley.
The International Micro-Credentials Summit counted with presentations of many educational experts such as William O’Keeffe (European Commission), Anthony F. Camilleri (Knowledge Innovation Centre) and Cynthia Proctor (SUNY).
The week closed with a National Summit held in Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) with interventions by Josep M. Duart (EDEN DLE President), Mark Brown (EDEN DLE Vice-President), Àngels Fitó (UOC’s Vice-Rector and newly appointed Rector) and Joan Subirats (Minister of Universities).

The Gesellschaft für Pädagogik, Information und Medien e.V. (GPI e.V.; Society for Pedagogic, Information and Media registered society) invites you to the Comenius-EduMedia-Contest 2023. For 28 years, the GPI annually awards digital educational media with a Comenius-EduMedia-Seal and in addition honours outstanding digital educational media with a Comenius-EduMedia-Medal. All digital educational media, including blended learning options, can be submitted without restriction regarding their content, format or target group. As of now until 31st March 2023 the updated registration form is available.
