How do teachers support full-time online students? View this email in your browser Teacher Perceptions of Learner-Learner Engagement at a Cyber High School Wednesday, 6/8/16, 2pm EDT This session will share findings of a case study on teachers at a full-time cyber charter school and their behaviors that most positively impact student engagement and learning: befriending, motivating, instructing, and collaborating. Presenter: Jered Borup, George Mason University All webinars are held via Adobe Connect (https://connect.mivu.org/mvlri); there is no registration required. Registration is open for this year’s Distance Teaching & Learning Conference at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This conference has a growing audience and presenter participation from those involved in K-12 education and is worth your consideration for attendance. MVLRI is excited to host representatives from the American Institutes for Research for an upcoming webinar on the impact of on-site mentors or facilitators on student success in online courses for credit recovery. Studies conducted by AIR, which will be the basis of this session, have received national attention from news outlets including NPR.
