How can custom learning tools be used effectively in instructional design for online learning?

Join us on February 24 from 3 p.m. 4 p.m. Eastern Time for a collaborative webinar led by ETLO Director, Kirsten Peterson and Anne Kraybill, Director of Education and Research at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, as they share instructional design strategies for creating online courses that use custom learning tools.

Kirsten and Anne will discuss the process of creating of ArtSpace, a custom online portfolio tool for student and teacher use, designed by EDC in partnership with Crystal Bridges. This webinar will showcase the online courseArt + Process: Creating a Body of Work, in which the ArtSpace tool plays a pivotal role, and webinar participants will be given access to a demo version of the course and additional details about how this course will be available, free of charge, for delivery in Fall of 2016.

How can the self-paced model of online learning be used effectively for licensure renewal?

Join us on March 22 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Eastern Time for an interactive webinar led by ETLO Director, Kirsten Peterson and Moira Rodgers, Director of Professional and Online Learning at TEC. This webinar will feature the two new self-paced courses ETLO developed in partnership with TEC,Strategies to Enhance Instruction for English Language Learners in the Classroom and Engaging All Students with Differentiated Instruction.

Moira and Kirsten will explore the instructional design process of creating engaging self-paced courses and discuss the process of offering these courses as a way to fulfill licensure renewal requirements. Webinar participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their own experiences with developing or participating in self-paced professional development.
