Submit a proposal to present at the TxDLA 2020 Annual Conference: Through the Looking Glass, A Wonderland of Innovation. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the premiere distance learning conference in the state of Texas! This conference takes place in Fort Worth, TX, March 22-25, 2020.

At this conference, we will focus on viewing innovation through the lens of the student, faculty, and partnerships. And, we want to assist our K-12 partners with innovative technology resources as they are striving for excellence in supporting their constituents.

Our 2020 Keynote Speakers

Robin Winsor
Monday, March 23
Robin Winsor is a highly influential visionary and executive in the technology field, who is known for being both a playful and provocative agent of change. Over the course of his extraordinary career, Robin invented the world’s first direct digital x-ray imaging device, and led a not-for-profit technology accelerator to become one of Canada’s most vocal champions for the digitally disadvantaged. He is widely sought after as a speaker on the future of technology.

Robin will be featured as our opening keynote speaker for the 2020 TxDLA annual conference. His talk is titled “School’s Out – How AI Will Transform Teaching & Learning.”

Klara Jelinkova
Tuesday, March 24
Klara Jelinkova is the Vice President for International Operations and IT and Chief Information Officer at Rice University. She arrived at Rice in January 2015 to advance the university’s strategic goals through sound information technology investments. She is responsible for strategic technology issues ranging from governance, policy and resource allocation to protocol and organization as well as operational issue connected to Rice’s global footprint and interest.

Klara will be featured as our second keynote speaker. In this interactive keynote session, participants will discuss how emerging technological changes enable new student focused modalities of teaching.

Come be a part of the premiere distance learning conference in the state of Texas this spring, March 22-25 in Fort Worth, Texas.

In a world where students and faculty are excited about technology, we will travel down a path of discovering a whole new world of creative advancements in technology. Students are using technology in every aspect of their lives and faculty are developing new and innovative methods to engage their students, so we want to push the boundaries and explore new ways to engage students using technology.
