Raising the Score: Two Powerful Courses to Assist Struggling Readers

No words have ever been more true. Do students in your school struggle with reading? Imagine a course where students are provided instruction emphasizing reading comprehension, writing fluency, and vocabulary study using a variety of literary and informational texts that encompass a broad range of genres and complexity. Imagine no further. With over 20 years of research-based, developed curriculum, FLVS has created two intensive reading courses designed to assist teachers in making a difference with struggling readers. Our NCAA approved course options for struggling readers engages students in interactive text-based discussions, generates questions, and provides opportunities for research- all while assisting struggling readers with skills necessary for achievement! FLVS Global offers two courses for students: A Universe of Reading and A Field of Reading.

Audience: Superintendents, Curriculum Leaders, Directors, Principals, Counselors, Educators

PD Points: A certificate for one hour of professional development will be awarded for participation.
