AECT 2019 Convention Program Is Available!

This conference may be of interest to some.

Dear Michael Barbour,

We are looking forward to your session(s) at the convention in October. We are excited to announce that the 2019 AECT convention program is now live! Much work has been done to schedule your sessions while avoiding scheduling conflicts with any other sessions you may be associated with.

We would encourage you to check your presentation days, times, and locations. The convention week is October 21–25. That’s a Monday through Friday schedule — with a full morning of sessions on Friday! Please schedule your travel plans accordingly.

We are unable to make changes to the schedule due to travel. There are so many of our committed members involved with multiple responsibilities at the convention that avoiding conflicts is near impossible.

Looking Ahead …

There are 33 workshops scheduled Monday through Friday this year. I would like to encourage you to register for one of these exceptional professional development opportunities, which is the focus of the convention this year.

Beginning Tuesday and continuing through Friday, there are concurrent sessions, Inspire! sessions, and governance meetings.

Poster sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 22, and Roundtable sessions will be held on Thursday, October 24.

Convention Previews

Dr. John Curry and I will be hosting two convention previews on the following days and times. We encourage you, any students, or any courses to join us for the previews.

  • September 12 at 12:30-1:00 pm Eastern (UTC-05:00)
  • September 12 at 6:30-7:00 pm Eastern (UTC-05:00)

Again, we are excited to see you and your work in just a few short months!
