Statistics for July 2019

This entry is being posted back-dated.

A very quick statistics entry this month.  In July 2019 there were 2,291 hits from 1,149 distinct visitors.  This was approximately 100 more hits and about the same number of visitors than we saw in June 2019.  However, it was also about 1,900 less hits and 1,000 fewer visitors from July 2018.

The visitors came from the following countries (or at least the top ten countries).

The top ten entries this past month were:

  1. We Missed You at Last Week’s Webinar
  2. EDTECH537 – Potential Hazards Of Blogging
  3. FLVS And Web 2.0
  4. Special Offer For Your Family From K12
  5. EDTECH537 – Guest Blog Entry: Civil Rights and Online Learning
  6. EDTECH537 – Examining Generational Differences
  7. Virtual Schooling In The News
  8. Instructional Technology Dissertation Topics
  9. EDTECH537 – Commentary Entry: Making Your Blog More Accessible [Guest Blog Entry]
  10. Distance Education Special Issue: Call for Abstracts – Distance Education Across Critical Theoretical Landscapes

The visitors came across these and other entries from the following sources.

    • Google Search
    • Bing
    • Yahoo Search
    • myway.com
    • duckduckgo.com

  • blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=7317512527756064781
  • blog.feedspot.com/educational_technology_blogs/

Given that search engines accounted for around 70% of the traffic to this blog, it is worth looking at the most common search terms.

  • pa “cyber charter school” graduates 900 “class of 2009”
  • web 2.0 tools flvs
  • if you missed the webinar check the videos

Finally, the statistics from my old blog site (which still does generate some minimal traffic – and each month I say that I should really dig in sometime to see how exactly)…
