jkpgThe conference is hosted by the Jönköping University in co-operation with Destination Jönköping and SADE, the Swedish Association for Open and Distance Learning and supported by the Jönköping City Council.

Registration is open

The EDEN Secretariat is taking care of the registration for the Annual Conference. The registration fee includes access to all conference facilities, the electronic Conference Proceedings, the Welcome Cocktail, lunches and refreshments during the conference days. The fee does not include accommodation and the conference dinner.register

Detailed conference programme available

                        booklet coverThe Conference programme includes plenaries, parallel sessions with paper presentations, workshops, trainings, moderated poster and demo sessions and the synergy strand, ensuring digital interactivity and cooperation on the social web.

The event starts on Tuesday afternoon on 13 June, with registration, followed by the Welcome Reception and ends with a Farewell Coffee on 16 June.

Special Interest Group on TEL and Quality Enhancement

The first part of these workshop sessions – or learning cafés – will also be held on 13 June as a free pre-conference workshop. It will introduce and present EDEN’s Special Interest Group (SIG) on Technology Enabled Learning (TEL), and Quality Enhancement.

State of the art in research and practices, current challenges and challenges ahead will be discussed. In this session the aims of the SIG group will be discussed. The series of workshops/learning cafe will be introduced, which will take place – one every day – during the days of the Annual Conference.

The series includes the following workshops:

  • Renewing the Quality Agenda – 14 June
  • Quality In TEL On Micro, Meso And Macro Level, And Who Are The Stakeholders. Why And How Do They Have An Interest? – 15 June
  • Innovation for Quality Leadership – 16 June

“Synergy” – a unique feature of the EDEN conferences incorporating interactive, network building sessions always offers outstandingly rich portfolio of projects and initiatives will feature again in Jönköping.

We are keen to promote and inspire professionals byrecognising excellence and will continue the tradition of distinguishing Best Papers and Best Practice Initiatives. The conference participants can also make their voices heard – they will be able to vote on their favourite posters on display – the poster earning the highest number of votes will receive the conference’s Poster Prize. Everybody who has an accepted submission for presentation will receive aSpeaker badge and all conference participants will be awarded a Participant badge.
