Communication and Outreach Strategies for Leaders Shifting to Personalized Learning

Thursday, April 13, 2017
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET (register)

On Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET, the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) will be hosting a webinar to share community engagement, communication and outreach strategies for K-12 education leaders shifting toward personalized learning.

As schools and districts shift toward personalized learning, it is important to effectively engage parents, teachers, students and our communities to understand the needs and opportunities, and to discuss what is possible with personalized learning to create modernized, high-quality learning environments that offer pathways customized to students’ needs.

Join this webinar to discuss a variety of approaches educators are using for communications in planning, implementing and offering new learning models and what they’ve learned from ongoing conversations about personalized learning. What do these communication and outreach strategies look like? Understand why it’s important for schools to communicate effectively about the promise of personalized learning, and explore techniques to communicate your personalized learning vision and plan. The presenters will share their experiences and lessons learned in communication and outreach strategies, engaging various stakeholders, and designing constructive partnerships with their community members.

iNACOL CEO Susan Patrick said, “Clear communication and outreach around personalized learning help provide meaningful opportunities for schools and communities to connect and explore the best ways to prepare students for success.”

This webinar is free to attend — participants are invited to register here for final details and login information.
