REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE! The 2017 AECT International Convention early-bird registration is now available. Member registrations and nonmember registrations can save $150. Deadline is May 31, 2017. Click here for additional information.

ELECTION RESULTS. The 2017 elections have concluded and the results are posted on the AECT website. Dr. Trey Martindale is our President-Elect Designee and Dr. Michael Grant was reelected to the position of Executive Secretary.

MEMBER INPUT SURVEY 2017. At this time the AECT Leadership is interested in hearing member feedback and input to consider adjustments to our organizational actions and activities. This survey will remain available until March 31, 2017. Your responses will be aggregated with all others and will not be individually identified.Please help us out!

SUMMER SYMPOSIUM TAKING SHAPE. A symposium is planned to allow interested writers to participate in a peer-review process related to submissions to the new Journal of Formative Design in Learning. The journal has issued a call for papers, with a deadline for abstracts of March 30, 2017. The symposium will be held in Jacksonville, Florida, July 22-23, in conjunction with the AECT Summer Leadership Meeting. Details can be found on the AECT website.

DDL LOGO REDESIGN COMPETITION. The Division of Distance Learning is currently sponsoring a contest to redesign the division logo. Top prize is $100. Submissions are due by April 15, and designers do not need to be an active member of AECT or DDL.  For more information or instructions on how to submit a design, see the complete flyer.
