More Than 1,200 Events Planned for Digital Learning Day!

Digital Learning Day is tomorrow, February 23! Here’s your action plan!

Tomorrow, educators and students from around the country will participate in the nationwide celebration highlighting great teaching and demonstrating how technology can improve student outcomes. Here’s your action plan to get ready:

  1. Add Your Event—There are more than 1,200 local events planned!
If you’re holding a Digital Learning Day event, please be sure to add it to the official Digital Learning Day map if you haven’t already done so. Add your event at http://digitallearningday.org/register-your-event/
  2. Share
On Digital Learning Day, be sure to share your photos, videos, and impressions of the day on Twitter using the #DLDay hashtag—be sure to tag @OfficialDLDay—and on the Digital Learning Day Facebook page.
  3. Connect
While you’re sharing on social media, take the opportunity to connect with others who are participating in Digital Learning Day—it’s a great way to build out your personal learning network (PLN). For more information on a PLN and how to get started, check out these resources from Edutopia, which is one of many Digital Learning Day national partners.
  4. Register for the Digital Learning Day webinar
Register for our free webinar featuring advice and tips for librarians and teachers from digital innovators on how to take advantage of connected classrooms to engage today’s students and prepare them for success. Register at http://all4ed.org/webinar-event/feb-23-2017/.
