Getting More Involved

Things continue to keep rolling along in Connected Educator Month 2016. More and more organizations are getting involved through a variety of engaging professional learning opportunities. We hope you have been able to find something productive to learn and do this month! We’re not done yet…

Event Calendar
More event listings are uploaded to the calendar each day. If you haven’t had a chance to include yours, there is still time left! Get started by adding your events here.

This effort would not be possible without our generous #ce16 sponsors! If you would like to discuss ways in which you and your organization can support the cause, send us an email. We look forward to discussing partnership opportunities.

Featured Connected Educator Month Supporter
Election season is upon us. It’s a time when we are reminded that our voice and our vote matters. As a network of educators, the Teachers Guild has been asking what their role is in supporting students to understand their civic power, exercise their voice, and take action on the issues they care about. In partnership with ASCD, they are working with some incredible organizations in civic education to help reshape the future of civic education. Get involved!

Join #eMINTS Tweet week from October 17-21 for an exciting Twitter challenge. Participants will engage in collegial sharing, reflective thinking, and inspirational discussions prompted by five daily topics dedicated to digital education.

On Thursday, October 27, 2016, K-5 teachers from across North America and beyond will click on a simple link and be joined together online for a live-streamed participatory event they will enjoy from the comfort of the classroom. Read more about how you can participate.
