POLICIES AND INFORMATION. “A Manual of AECT Association Policies & Other Helpful Information” was updated in April this year. If you haven’t yet read it, take a look. There truly is a wealth of information in its pages, and the manual can be downloaded (and printed) for added convenience. You’ll find it under Documents on the AECT website.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? If you haven’t registered for the 2016 AECT International Convention in Las Vegas, October 17-21, what are you waiting for? This year’s convention promises to be a “best ever” event. Save money by registering before October 17. Use the registration website and look for all the information you need.
NEW BOOK. Women’s Voices in the Field of Educational Technology: Our Journeys,edited by Ana Donaldson, is new from Springer. Women from around the world were asked to contribute to this volume, giving their perspectives on swimming in the “good old boy” stream to find recognition in our field. Contributors discuss their lives and the people who made a difference in their professional journeys.
AND… AECT members are invited to the Springer Reception and Book Signing to meet many of the authors included in the Women’s Voices volume above. The event will precede the keynote on Wednesday, October 19, at the AECT International Convention in Las Vegas. Don’t miss this event!
