Virtual Classroom Training Survey: What Can We Learn From Our Colleagues?

Virtual classrooms are designed for interactivity. Unfortunately, from an instructor’s point of view, this wealth of interactive resources often seems more a curse than a blessing.

The Online Learning Consortium collaborated with a team of researchers to distribute a survey and present the research findings. The resulting research report and companion infographic offer insights from over 733 OLC members to provide a framework for virtual classroom training.

Special Issue: Best Papers Presented At The OLC 21st International Conference On Online Learning And Innovate 2016

Of the 1,172 proposals submitted for the two conferences, the nine articles selected for this special edition represent the best presentations as determined by the conference track chairs and editorial staff of the Online Learning Journal. This issue includes an additional five articles investigating faculty development, academic dishonesty, online labs, sense of connectivity, and academic performance in an online program.
