REGISTER TODAY! If you haven’t registered for the 2016 AECT International Convention in Las Vegas, October 17-21, what are you waiting for? This year’s convention promises to be a “best ever” event. Save money by registering early. Use the registration website and look for all the information you need.
NEW POLICY BRIEF AVAILABLE. AECT’s newest policy brief, “Aligning the Purposes and Evaluations of New Technology in Schools,” is now available among the Policy Briefs already on the AECT website. Check it out and spread the word to your local policy makers and others.
MAJOR REFERENCE WORK. The AECT-Springer Online Major Reference Work (MRW) offers theorists, researchers, and practitioners a unique opportunity to publish articles of substance in a “living” forum with the capacity to include interactive elements and to make ongoing modifications as new information emerges. Review the Call for Authors and consider developing a submission.
POLICIES AND INFORMATION. “A Manual of AECT Association Policies & Other Helpful Information” was updated in April this year. If you haven’t yet read it, take a look. There truly is a wealth of information in its pages, and the manual can be downloaded (and printed) for added convenience. You’ll find it under Documents on the AECT website..
SPECIAL ISSUES ACCESS. Springer, AECT’s publishing partner, has launched a new online feature that will allow users to read articles from various journals free of charge. Check out the new Special Issues in Education page. Bookmark it to stay up to date.
