It’s not too late to register for 15 June FLANZ conversation with Dianne Forbes

Earlier this month, FLANZ had its inaugural conversation. Joyce Seitzinger, followed up her popular keynote at DEANZ2016 focussed on learner experience design (LX), where she showed us how to pull together online products and services to design an effective and engaging learner experience. Please follow this link to hear Joyce’s brief introduction and the subsequent conversation between Joyce and over twenty participants.

FLANZ believes this was a highly successful format that will continue to be of value to our members. So we are going to do it again! Our next conversation will be with Dianne Forbes, another of our FLANZ conference keynote speakers on

Wednesday 15 June at 12.30 pm (NZST).

Dianne’s topic is ‘Let’s talk blended learning’.

Dianne will briefly share some stories from 15 years as a teacher educator and researcher inspired by The University of Waikato’s Bachelor of Teaching, Mixed Media Presentation (MMP). She will talk about challenges and highlights for students and communities, and share reflections on how teaching online has enabled her to work flexibly around family, research, administration and service responsibilities. Then the meeting will be open to participants to ask questions and share their own stories of blended learning. You are invited to email Dianne questions in advance

Register, and join in.
To join in the conversation fill in this form by midday Friday 10 June Monday 13 June, expressing your wish to participate in the FLANZ Conversation with Dianne Forbes. You will then be sent the Zoom online meeting address, plus instructions about joining a Zoom meeting.
(Some of you may receive this notice twice – if so, please accept our apology.)

I look forward to joining you in the conversation.
