Vice President – Learning and Professional Development

Position Summary:
The Vice President – Learning & Professional Development of the Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C) provides leadership in the research and development of innovative learning strategies, emerging trends in learning technologies, new products, and best practices for the organization as well as the broader online learning community to assist them in achieving their goals. The Vice President – Learning & Professional Development guides and unifies efforts to keep Sloan-C Institute programming (certificate program, workshops, webinars), conferences, publications, and research current. The Vice President – Learning & Professional Development manages the organization’s knowledge as an ongoing, critically valuable resource; and leverages opportunities to convert knowledge-driven products into revenue-generating assets. To that end, the Vice President – Learning & Professional Development will coordinate a broad range of activities designed to maximize the intellectual capital in Sloan-C via formal/informal publications, regular engagement with the community, consultations, knowledge acquisition, and program and product development.

Submission deadline is midnight ET December 12, 2013.
