Call for proposals: Present at the premier conference on distance teaching and learning We’re pleased to invite you to submit your proposal(s) to present at the 29th Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning, the premier conference in the distance education and training field, hosted by UW-Madison Continuing Studies Distance Education Professional Development (DEPD). The deadline for proposals is 4 pm (CST), Thursday, January 24, 2013. The 2012 conference hosted more than 900 distance education professionals and practitioners. They enjoyed a dynamic keynote presentation on distance learning and mobile technology by Judy Brown, a learning-technologies expert with nearly 40 years’ experience. Click to view her presentation, “Learning in Hand with Mobile Technology.” Since then, we’ve experienced an explosion of new tools and delivery techniques. We look forward to your participation at the 2013 conference to “catch up” and “keep up”!
