iNACOL Symposium | Wednesday Keynote – Learning by Design: Breakthrough Leadership in the Digital Age

Just to make sure you get even more of the neo-liberal perspective, iNACOL continues its tradition of having ideological keynoters from a single side of the spectrum.

2013 iNACOL Blended and Online Learning Symposium

Dear Michael,

We are pleased to announce that our Wednesday, October 30th keynote address will be delivered by Rick Hess and Bror Saxberg at this year’s iNACOL Blended and Online Learning Symposium.
In their soon to be released book, “Breakthrough Leadership in the Digital Age”, Hess and Saxberg offer that there’s never been a better time to be a “learning engineer” – working to apply what’s known about the science of learning to the very real challenges of developing affordable, reliable, available, data-rich competency-based, blended and online learning environments.
Citing many examples of leaders who have busted out of the cage, Hess will illustrate how tough decisions can be made to provide the quality education we seek for our students.
Saxberg is both a highly-regarded researcher and visionary on digital learning and innovative instructional designs to transform education.
Taking what we know about science and building through design, digital learning offers solutions for transforming education into highly personalized learning pathways to meet each student’s individual needs. Combining a solution-driven approach with strong “cage-busting” leadership – this keynote will offer tremendous insights and tools for leaders committed leading change.
We hope you will join us for this and other thought-provoking discussions at the iNACOL Blended and Online Learning Symposium from October 27-30, 2013 at the Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL.
