[EDEN-News] EquNet: Working for Equitable Access to Higher Education in Europe – Final Event

From Friday’s inbox…

Invitation for the EquNet closing event
Brussels, 7 November, 2012

Dear Colleagues,

As you might know, in the last two years eight European stakeholders and research organisations* have been working, through the EquNet project and with the support of the European Commission, with the aim of enhancing equity in European Higher Education through networking among all interested stakeholders, and have been gathering research on the topic. More info at www.equnet.info.

At the end of its lifecycle, EquNet is organising an International Workshop on the 7th of November in the University Foundation, Rue d’Egmont 11 Brussels. The Workshop aims to contribute, starting from the results of the EquNet research and of similar exercises, to shape EU and national policies in the field of Higher Education and to foster the exchange of research findings, working practices and ideas among relevant stakeholders and communities, in particular facilitating contact between the academic and the civil society communities. Find more info on the event here. The workshop will gather around 50 representatives of stakeholders from the HE field (European HE associations, universities, experts, policy makers) and from the social inclusion field (NGOs, associations, trade unions). Please confirm your participation to Beatrice Niyibigira: beatrice.nyiybigira@menon.org.

Looking forward to meeting you there,

The EquNet Team

Coordinators:
