First, on October 10 will be the Leadership Webinar: 21st Century Skills: Implementing Online Course Requirement Policies for High School Graduation. This webinar features Dan Tenuta and Kris Keckler, administrators from the Kenosha Unified School District in Wisconsin sharing how they implemented a graduation requirement at the district level requiring an online course. In addition, Amy Murin of the Evergreen Education Group will provide the national perspective about similar district policies in place. Cost is just $29 for iNACOL members to attend. Later in the month, on October 18, the Teacher Talk webinar will feature 2010 National Online Teacher of the Year Teresa Dove discussing ways to engage the online learner. Teresa, a math teacher with the Florida Virtual School will share the important strategies online teachers can utilize to better engage online learners. Cost is just $15 for iNACOL members.
