Who would have thought such a backward concept would have such a huge impact on the way today’s students learn? “The Flipped Classroom” has garnered a lot of attention over the last few years. Gaining in popularity and embraced by school teachers nationwide, this method of blended learning is changing the way we educate our students and how they learn. Through independent study and lectures viewed outside of school, coupled with collaborative, project-based learning inside the classroom, students are becoming more engaged, and are sharing ideas and working together to better understand the curriculum.
