ANHS Virtual Open House: More Planned
Posted: 10 Aug 2012 11:05 AM PDT
By JACQUELYN SANBORN,
Dean of Instruction at Allied National High School
Many schools offer open house meetings at the beginning of the school year to help new students and parents learn what they can expect during the school year ahead. Online schools are no exception to his practice, except the meeting usually occurs online. How fitting!
You may ask, what is a virtual open house? It is an online meeting that is designed to give prospective families, and new families, a better understanding of all that ANHS has to offer. It is also a good way for parents and students to gain valuable information about how and whom to contact at our accredited online high school when they need assistance.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the virtual open house experience is the opportunity for parents and students to interact directly with ANHS staff to ask important enrollment questions. It is also a great way for our online high school students to get to know each other a little better and learn about who they will be going to school with this year.
ANHS is hosting a series of virtual open house sessions online during the fall enrollment season. Discussion topics include curriculum, lesson demonstrations, diploma programs, faculty, staff, tuition and payment plan options, accreditation, and much more.
Our first open house was held at 3 p.m. PST on Thursday, Aug. 9. We will be hosting a few each week through September. To learn more about our open house meetings and register to attend one, please visit our Virtual Open House web page.
We hope to see you there!
