[Itforum] ** DISTANCE EDUCATION: SPECIAL ISSUE **

This may be of interest to some of my academic readers…

DISTANCE EDUCATION SPECIAL ISSUE
================================

We are seeking submissions for the 2013 Special Issue of Distance Education, which will feature papers from the 2013 Distance Education Summit hosted by the Open and Distance Learning Association of Australia (ODLAA).

The theme of the Summit is EDUCATION ACROSS SPACE AND TIME: MEETING THE DIVERSE NEEDS OF THE DISTANCE LEARNER

Papers should be between 5000 and 7000 words (including references), and should represent original work of the authors and address one or more of the proposed Summit themes. Contributions covering a range of methodologies are sought, and both conceptual and applied papers are welcomed.

Papers will be refereed using a double-blind peer-review process and selected papers will be invited to have their paper included in special themed issue of Distance Education.

Full details are available at odlaa.org/summit2013 and further information can be obtained from Rod Sims (rod.sims-at-faculty.capella.edu) or Mutuota Kigotho (mkigotho-at-une.edu.au)
