Personalized Learning Through Blended Instruction – Free Webinar

inacolThis was posted to one of the iNACOL forums in the past two or three days.

UC Irvine is very excited to announce an upcoming webinar that is now open for registration!

“Personalized Learning for Students Through Blended Instruction”

As K-20 educators and administrators are realizing and pursuing the benefits of online instruction, blended (or hybrid) learning has quickly become one of the biggest trends in online learning. Many schools are now blending virtual and face-to-face teaching in order to meet student needs in different ways. Please join UC Irvine Extension in welcoming Cynthia Carbajal, master teacher at Connections Academy, as she presents how online learning techniques can be used in classrooms to individualize learning for students. Blended or hybrid learning is a solution to budget cuts, varying student needs and levels, and keeps students motivated to learn while developing 21st century skills. Come see what blended learning looks like in K-20 classrooms and learn how you can incorporate techniques in your own teaching. This webinar will include pre-registration advisement for individuals interested in UC Irvine Extension’s Virtual Teacher certificate program.

When: August 16, 2011 11:00 am – 12:00 pm PT
To register:

. Even if you cannot attend the live session, you will receive a recording of the webinar if you register.

Warm regards,
