Later this week – in my Meandering Out Loud feature, I’ll have a little more to say about my growing interest and involvement in cyber charter schools, but for right now I have been thinking about this issue for quite sometime. Proponents of cyber charter schooling often complain about artificial caps placed on the number of students that cyber charter schools can serve in a given state. Proponents of cyber charter schools also often oppose any measure designed to provide anything less than equal funding for cyber charter schools as is provided to brick-and-mortar schools. So…
I ask because some events over the past two weeks have caused me to question the commitment that those involved in providing cyber charter school opportunities have to one or both of these issues.
