Michigan districts push for more time for online courses
Some Michigan school districts have received waivers, freeing them from requirements that students be physically in a school building 1,100 hours each school year, and allowing more time for students to learn online. Michigan in 2006 began requiring all students to experience online education before graduation. Detroit Free Press (1/4)
