Day twelve in the 30 Days to Being a Better Blogger series was yesterday and asked us to look at Day 12: Declutter Your Sidebar Part I – Blogroll Audit. Essentially, we were asked to size up our Blogroll and figure out if they were all still valid or useful or thematic.
This is actually something I did shortly before I began this journey, by taking away a couple of blogs that had gone inactive and adding a bunch more. All of the ones that are currently there are ones that are either focused on K-12 online learning or are run by folks involved in K-12 online learning (even if they rarely post on the topic – subtle hints to Cory and James). As I fine additional K-12 online learning folks I tend to add them and anyone who hasn’t updated in the last six months or so tends to get removed. Given that I follow all of these in my Bloglines account, I pay closer attention to them than I would if they were just static links.
Caught up again, but will likely fall behind as I’m travelling to Las Vegas for the annual e-Learn conference tomorrow.

Have a good time and make sure that you double down on 11!

I’ll post some stuff about the conference and the K-12 online learning stuff while I’m there. As for the gambling, that’s more my wife’s strong suit (or at least she enjoys it more).
